Terlato Vineyards Pinot Grigio Earns "Highest Rated" Ranking
Featured in the June 2016 edition of The Tasting Panel, the Terlato Vineyards Friuli Pinot Grigio was recently awarded a 93-point score from the 2015 vintage. Attributing the wine's success to expertly chosen terroir, Meridith May states:
No doubt this prestigious region in northeast Italy shines when it comes to white wines; an envious position on the world wine stage. This pretty, crisp white certainly shows ripeness in its concentrated notes of pear, peach and grapefruit, but its stony frame is a nod to the iconic mineral-rich, sloped terrace vineyards responsible for its pizazz and charm. The finish is clean, punctuated with an apricot accent.
As a result of the Terlato family's dedication to sourcing wine from the finest appellations in the world and Simonit & Sirch's unparalleled expertise in the vineyard, this 93-point score makes the 2015 Terlato Vineyards Friuli Pinot Grigio the highest rated Pinot Grigio of the vintage across major wine publications.*
