Learn about the vineyards where the Terlato Vineyards wine is made. Over the course of many years, the Terlato family has assembled and developed an array of world-class properties with the philosophy that the right grape, grown in the right place, is the right starting point to make the best wines.
Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from two estate vineyards: one hillside vineyard above the famed Rutherford Bench, noted for the intense, earthy quality it lends, as well as a vineyard in the acclaimed Stags Leap District, famed for imbuing wines with silky texture. Merlot and other Bordeaux varieties come from prime Napa sites including Atlas Peak. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay emerge from the Russian River Valley – as does Pinot Gris, the close cousin of Pinot Noir that benefits from this relatively cool climate.
The family is now proud to offer a Pinot Grigio and Friulano from the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, in Northeast Italy. This 100% Estate fruit is from hillside vineyards in a region widely acclaimed for making the most magnificent, full-bodied luxury white wines in the world.
